MONPERE salon is a boutique space set in the heart of Rose Bay and is home to a collection of freelance hair and beauty artists. Nestled just opposite the beach, MONPERE first opened its doors in January 2019, and after expanding in late 2020, is continuing to grow by now offering a wide range of hair services, hair styling events and hair extension courses. The light filled and airy space is the perfect tranquil setting for enjoying a luxury hair experience, with floor to ceiling mirrors, beautiful furnishings and its very own cherry blossom tree.
MONPERE salon is unlike many other salons, in that our team is a mixture of staff and freelance artists who manage their own clientele and services. This ensures that each guest receives only the best experience, having selected their own stylist based upon their individual expertise. We welcome guests who wish to book in for their own hair transformation, freelancers wishing to rent a chair and people looking to expand their hair knowledge with our styling and extension courses. Our own Hair Extension courses and masterclasses commenced in Spring 2022 which you can book now by visiting our Hair Extension Course page. Our BRAND NEW hair academy opened in March 2023, and has already been home to several Hair Extension courses and masterclasses, as well as our very popular Cocktails + Curls events! AMY
Hair Extension
Specialist & Educator
Amy is the owner of MONPERE salon and academy and is a hair extension specialist and educator. Originally from Hampshire in England, Amy's love for all things hair began whilst working in London as a professional dancer and teacher. Hair and wigs are such a big part of the performing world and Amy became more interested in learning all there was to know about them; in particular hair extensions after experiencing hair thinning herself. She found her passion for teaching during her time as a dance academy owner and is very excited to have opened up a brand new hair academy.
Fast forward ten years, a move to Sydney to extend her formal hairdressing qualifications and several years in salons around the Eastern Suburbs, Amy is now a sought after extensionist to clients, celebrities and influencers all over Australia.
Amy has taken more than 20 hair extension courses around the UK, as well as wig styling and hair for stage productions, and continues to research all she can about hair loss.

CHRSITIE
Hair Extension Technician
Christie has been in the hairdressing industry for just short of a decade, specifically specialising in hair extensions. She has recently moved to Sydney from Scotland, where she ran her own hair salon, Dumb Blonde Hair Extensions, which serviced hundreds of clients with people driving from as far as northern England to see her and her team.
She often updates her skills by attending masterclasses with other big names in the industry to keep up to date with new skills and methods and is excited to bring her vast wealth of hair knowledge and expertise to Australia!
Through hairdressing, Christie has had the opportunity to work in amazing locations around the world and has clients in Dubai, Mallorca, Ibiza and now Sydney. As well as applying hair extensions, Chrsitie loves to style hair for her clients whether thats for a wedding, a photoshoot or a special night out...her aim is to increase the confidence of every individual in the seat.

BECKY
Freelance Colourist and Stylist
Becky is a freelance curly hair and colour specialist at MONPERE salon. With over 12 years experience in the hairdressing industry, Becky learnt her craft in London and has continued to go from strength to strength in her field since moving to Sydney. She has an extensive knowledge of colour techniques and different brands she has worked alongside. She is a blonde specialist and loves all things to do with colour and balayage.
Her biggest passion is for transforming and shaping all of our curly haired clients and has become well known in the Eastern Suburbs for her work, as well as her INCA GLOW smoothing treatments which remove frizz for up to 16 weeks.
She is passionate about working with her clients to achieve their desired look and always prioritising the health and integrity of the natural hair. When Becky is not creating fabulous hair she enjoys dance and singing and attempting to get fit!

KERI
Colourist and Stylist
Our amazing colour specialist Keri has been hairdressing for 12 years and is obsessed with perfecting her clients' ultimate hair dreams. Originally from Scotland, Keri started her hair training as soon as she left school and her passion for making people feel their very best has only intensified. Keri loves learning new things and is constantly updating her already wide skill set.
Her favourite thing to do? Blonde foils! It's like her therapy, and once she gets started she could happily foil all day. She loves using different techniques to create beautiful balayages, expensive brunettes and glossy looking colours and is very focused on maintaing the health and integrity of her client's hair.
As well as doing a fabulous blonde, she's also amazing at styling, with many of our guests coming in each week just to see her for their blowdries.
Keri loves it when people leave their appointment with a smile on their face; it makes her so happy that she's made someone feel really good about themselves.
